In today’s complex changing world, individuals, organizations and communities need to continuously adapt to both opportunities and unexpected roadblocks in order to survive. The conditions to be successful are constantly shifting, requiring people from all sectors to lead with a new kind of courage and skill. It is increasingly important for leaders to learn to challenge the status quo, to be agile, and to mobilize others to step forward into the unknown with them.

What is adaptive leadership? Take a peek at this video for a quick intro:

NorthSky’s new Adaptive Leadership Series is designed to give leaders at all levels practical tools and tactics for becoming more adaptive in a complex changing world.  Utilizing the Ronald Heifetz book, The Practice of Adaptive Leadership, this series will provide you with the knowledge base you’ll need to be a more adaptive leader, while also connecting you to a trusted circle of peers. Together, you will reflect and seek feedback on your mindsets, behaviors and next steps.

As a participant you’ll learn how to:

  • Think and execute amidst constantly changing challenges

  • Gather a larger balcony view of possibilities

  • Define a systematic approach to take action

  • Reframe other’s interpretations that lead to conflict

  • Identify your own triggers and scope of authority

  • Lead from a place of strength and purpose

  • Pre-interview with facilitator required

  • Required confidentiality agreement signed at start of program

  • The cost of this program is $300

  • Applications due by February 26, 2018

  • This pilot program is being offered at a reduced rate with partial underwriting by Rotary Charities. Participants agree to provide feedback  to help improve the program through a post-program focus group and anonymous surveys.
